The Friday Warriors
proudly present
Gold Coast Pedal For Prostate
Come and join numerous local and international athletes participating in a fantastic cycle ride raising awareness for prostate cancer. We call it Pedal for Prostate and we are expecting another fantastic turnout this year.
Prostate Cancer kills over 3300 men each year and it is known as the “Silent Killer”. Help us raise much needed funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia by getting off your bum and on your bike.
Ride the Mikes Bikes 100km memorial ride in recognition of Mike Stout who passed last year to Prostate Cancer after a lengthy battle or ride the 50km Friday Warrior challenge out to Tallebudgera valley supporting Craig Wasson our own Friday Warrior diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Whatever your choice it all helps by entering the events. Both rides take in the beautiful Tallebudgera valley and have stunning ocean views as well.
A 25km ride is available for novice riders or those looking for an easy Sunday morning cruise and a slow paced 6km family park ride will also be available for Mum n Dad and the kids.
The entry fee for the 50km & 100km rides includes a special event cycle jersey. Hurry jerseys are limited to 300. Entries received after May 1 may not receive jersey until after the event.
The 25km and family fun ride includes a free sausage sizzle and drink, drink bottle and some other sponsors product.
